Title of the report :
        Motion Tomography and Collective Mobile Sensing in the Ocean
Brief introduction of the speaker:
        Dr. ‪Fumin ZHANG(张福民) ‪is Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He received a PhD degree in 2004 from the University of Maryland (College Park) in Electrical Engineering, and held a postdoctoral position in Princeton University from 2004 to 2007. His research interests include mobile sensor networks, maritime robotics, control systems, and theoretical foundations for cyber-physical systems. He received the NSF CAREER Award in September 2009 and the ONR Young Investigator Program Award in April 2010. He is currently serving as the co-chair for the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Marine Robotics, associate editors for IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and IEEE Transactions on Control of Networked Systems.  He also serves as the deputy editor-in-chief for the Cyber-Physical Systems Journal.

        Work-Oriented Path Planning and Control for Underwater Robots
Brief introduction of the speaker:
        Dr. Cui Rongxin(崔荣鑫), Professor, Vice Dean, Navigation College, Northwest Polytechnic University. Mainly engaged in autonomous control of underwater vehicles, cluster collaboration and other directions of research. He has presided over 10 key national defense basic scientific research projects, 10 national-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, and more than 10 other projects such as projects entrusted by enterprises. More than 20 papers have been published and more than 10 patents have been authorized. Some of the achievements have been applied in engineering. As Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on SMC: Systems and Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems.

        Frontier Scientific Problems of Group Cooperation of Intelligent Underwater Vehicles
Brief introduction of the speaker:

        Li Ye(李晔),born in 1978, doctoral degree, professor/tutor of Harbin University of Engineering, deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Vehicle Technology. National "Ten Thousands Plan" Young Top Talents, Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education in the New Century, Nomination of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations, Member of National Submersible Standardization Technical Committee, Member of Marine Mechanics Committee of China Shipbuilding Engineering Society, Young Academic Backbone of Heilongjiang Province Colleges and Universities, and Winner of Heilongjiang Youth Science and Technology Award People. He has presided over over over more than 30 research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, such as national key R&D projects, 863 projects of the state and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and won 4 first and second prizes in science and technology at the provincial and ministerial level. More than 140 papers were published, of which more than 100 were retrieved by SCI/EI. Thirty-six invention patents were authorized and 31 software copyright certificates were obtained. Published 2 books.
This paper is mainly engaged in the research of intelligent underwater vehicle technology, and has made progress in underwater autonomous docking of intelligent underwater vehicle, seabed terrain matching navigation and multi-underwater vehicle cooperative control. The first underwater autonomous docking test of AUV has been completed in China; the first underwater terrain matching navigation research of AUV has been carried out; three intelligent underwater vehicles of the research team, supported by underwater acoustic networking communication, have carried out cooperative control test exploration in the sea, and achieved certain technical accumulation. This academic report will focus on "thinking on the frontier scientific issues of swarm collaboration of intelligent underwater vehicles" and discuss with you the research experience.

        Motion and Cooperative Control Technology of Underwater Vehicle
Brief introduction of the speaker:
        Wang Hao(王昊), Ph.D., Center for Excellent Innovation of Marine Robots, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy researcher, was selected into the "Institute of 100" program of Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He nominated Excellent Doctoral Dissertations in Liaoning Province, and presided over the launching of Ph.D. research by the Central Military Commission of Science and Technology, the National Nat Foundation, National Key Laboratory of Robotics, Key Laboratory of Water-jet Propulsion Technology and other projects, the first author published more than 10 SCI/EI papers, research direction for marine robot motion and collaborative control technology.

        Born in 1976, doctor, researcher, doctoral supervisor, director of Marine Robot Excellence Innovation Center, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2006, he received a doctorate in engineering from Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From August 2009 to July 2010, he was a visiting scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States. It is mainly engaged in the research of underwater glider, new concept ocean robot, theory and technology of autonomous ocean environment observation.
As the chief designer of the "Haiyi" deep-sea glider, we have organized and implemented many key research projects of underwater glider. He presided over 15 scientific research projects, including 2 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 3 projects of the National 863 Program, 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of basic scientific research of national defense, 1 key research and development project of the 13th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 3 strategic leading projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
In 2019, he was selected as the leader of scientific and technological innovation in the National "Ten Thousands Plan". In 2018, he was the annual person in the field of automation in China, in 2017, in the ocean, in 2015, he was elected as the "Ten Thousands of Talents Project" in Liaoning Province. In 2018, he was awarded the first prize for technological invention in Liaoning Province (the first prize) and in the field of automation in 2017. The annual League Award (person in charge) won the 12th Five-Year Outstanding Contribution Team Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016 and the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. Member of Ocean Observation Branch of China Society of Oceanography and Lakes and Marshes. More than 110 academic papers have been published, including 20 SCI papers and 60 Journal papers. Fifty-three patents have been applied for, including 17 patents for invention and 23 patents for utility models.
