The 2019 Underwater Vehicle Target Grabbing Competition is about to start
The 2019 Under Water Target Grabbing Competition will begin in Dalian on August 22. This contest includes two major competition venues: offshore waters and open sea areas. There are three groups of contests: man-machine cooperative grasping contest, target recognition contest and autonomous grasping contest.
Among them, the three competition groups set more content and detailed indicators in their evaluation, increased the link of concentrating live video and technical reply, and more ensured the accuracy of the results of the competition;This competition changed the form of a single team-oriented competition, adding popular science exhibitions and virtual scenes to the public during the competition process. The development and application of artificial intelligence in ocean field are presented in motion and panorama. The motion of robot is displayed by VR and other virtual means, and the organic combination of popular science and scientific research is realized.
The competition opened up the entry channels for the whole country, and finally, 36 teams successfully qualified for the Quarter-final. Among them are the team of Harbin Engineering University, which won the first prize in the 21st International Robot Competition of the United States, the team of Beijing Dahai Infinite Marine Science and Technology Co., Ltd., which won the first prize in the Northeast Competition of Underwater Logistics Robot in the 2018 "Saibaite Cup" National University Intelligent Internet of Things Competition, and the team of Beijing Dahai Infinite Marine Technology Co., Ltd., which won the 2019 "Lingang Cup ” The competition in the underwater intelligent robot contest will be very fierce for the team of Dalian University of Technology who won the double Championships in Shanghai Station traversing group and grasping group.
